An NIT software engineer reports to a project lead and is capable of coding and/or modifying, testing, documenting and delivering software application units to meet the system requirements specification and the rigorous quality standards of the organization. The ability to work as a productive team member and communicate effectively is important.

	Bachelor of Engineering (Computer Science or Electronics) or Master of Computer Applications (MCA) preferable or equivalent.

	Minimum of 3 years developing client/server and web-based applications using object oriented design techniques, XML/XSLT, SOAP, OOAD, Web Services, Oracle and/or SQL Server, etc.
	Minimum of 2 years developing client/server and web-based applications using object oriented design techniques, XML/XSLT, SOAP, OOAD, Web Services, Oracle and/or SQL Server, etc.
	Minimum of 2 years experience with Microsoft technologies such as .NET, C#, ASP.NET, and ADO.NET, and/or
	Minimum of 2 years experience with Java, JSP's, and related technologies in a J2EE environment
	Working experience with MS-Office productivity applications, especially MS Word and Excel
	Strong English communication skills - oral and written
	Knowledge of testing methods and quality in the development process
